FiliaMotsa is a French eccentric drums and electric violin duo born in spring 2007 in Nancy, Lorraine, France. On a ring of a few square meters, two musicians wrestle in a soft and brutal gushes, where the combat unit binds in implacable music pieces. The energy of this rock duo draws its sources from uncontrolled noise improvisation, psychedelic sixties and seventies, and binary of primal and revanchist grunge.
G.W. Sok, vocalist/lyricist of The Ex from 1979 to 2009, now works with Cannibales & Vahinés (F), Beukorkest (NL) and Filiamotsa (F). Sometimes he's as a guest of duo Two Pin Din (NL/B/CAN/UK) and Gran Kino (F). Next to that since 2012 half of the duo The And (NL/F) and part of Testa Di Cavallo (SWI).
