The excruciatingly slow hiatus is over!

Wait no longer, as the Snake slithers again! New Goatsnake material baby! Like a fine wine these 3 new songs have been fermenting for the last couple years.

Initial tracks sans the vocals were laid down summer 2002 by guitarist Greg Anderson (also of sunn0)), and Thorrs Hammer), and session drums by JR (Cave-In). Sub-sonic thunder was recently added by none other then the legendary: Scott Reeder (formerly of Kyuss and the Obsessed). The last piece of the puzzle was of course the intense, soulful vocals of Pete Stahl (formerly of Scream, and Wool, now earthlings?).

The new material is heavier, and stronger then ever before. Most definitely a sign of enormous things to come. Rounding out the “Trampled”....EP are two rare bonus (cover) tracks.A punishing version of the early Saint Vitus track: “Burial At Sea”, and the whiskey-fueled Black Oak Arkansas standard: “Hot Rod.” The lineup on those tracks includes the original rhythm section of the Obsessed, Greg Rogers and Guy Pinhas.

Coming soon is a special re-issue compilation CD featuring the 1st Goatsnake album: "1"+ "Dog Days" (entire session, including one previously available only on vinyl song) and 1 bonus track.

"Flower of Disease" will also be re-issued in the near future.
