Les Fières Bretelles se sont rencontrés au confluant du Mississippi et de l'Escaut, où ils ont travaillé la terre durant quelques années. Aujourd'hui, en toute liberté, ils cultivent une musique folk aux accents bluegrass. A grand renfort de banjo, mandoline, accordéon et whisky, ils se battent pour la reconnaissance des bretelles, le port du lasso et le débridage des tracteurs.
Les Fières Bretelles met at the confluence of the great Mississippi river and the not so great Escaut river, where they labored the soil for many years. Today backed by an artillery of banjo, mandoline, accordeon, bourbon, and with their cross polynated folk-bluegrass music they're fighting for the recognition of suspenders, lassoo-toting, and tractor turbocharging.
