
Master Of Waha is a new musical adventure created by Xavier Carion (ex-Channel Zero, Sons of Jonathas ) and Stef ‚Doc‘ Sinnaeve. They already have been working together recording the Sons of Jonathas -album ,The Death Dealer' in 2005.
When they met vocalist Jason Vanacker, their creativity adopted a completely new dimension. Xavier and Stef decided to built this project around Jason’s voice. The result is astonishing. The songs were composed very spontaneously and they are recorded likewise, classic hard rock influences are molded in a modern pattern.
The debut album „Wasteland“ had been recorded at Jonathas Studio in Edingen (B) by Xavier Carion himself, between late 2009-beginning 2010.
The mix and mastering was done in the mythic Antfarm Studios (DK) by the almighty Tue Madsen.
In March 2010 the dutch Ronald Camonier joined The Waha as the second guitarist.
After opening for bands like Corrosion Of Conformity and Sevendust, Master of Waha starts shows as headliner announcing the arrival in the Waha of Nicholas Brynin on bass.
The band signs a deal with Ultimhate records for Europe in June 2011.
„Wasteland“ was released in September 2011.
