MOBINA GALORE Punk

Mobina Galore, based out of Winnipeg, MB, Canada, formed in late 2010 by Jenna (guitar/vocals) and Marcia (drums/vocals) and created the duo’s signature sound; a musical hybrid of punk, alternative and pop.
CBC Radio 3 named them one of the Top 15 Punk Bands in Canada of 2015.
Their album, Cities Away, recorded and produced by John Paul Peters (Propagandhi, Comeback Kid), was released independently in North America in Dec 2014 and through Gunner Records in Europe in Sep 2015 followed by a successful 21-date tour in Europe promoting the release.
The debut single “Bad Love Song” tackled the charts reaching #6 in high rotation on CBC Radio 3, was picked up by select commercial rock stations in Canada and Europe and received a placement on the YTV show, Open Heart.
In 2016 Mobina Galore will be focusing on the release of their second full-length studio album, Feeling Disconnected. They teamed up again with John Paul Peters and plan to release it in the fall. They went on a second European tour in the spring to continue promoting Cities Away as well as the first single off the new album, “Vancouver”, which has also been picked up by CBC Radio 3 and a handful of Canadian commercial rock stations.
Mobina Galore have spent a lot of time on the road, including several showcases at Canadian Music Week, Pouzza Fest, NXNE, Big Fun Festival, Juno Fest and Golden Sound Festival. They have toured heavily since 2011 in Canada, the States and Europe.
They are often compared to the likes of The Distillers and L7. Artists Mobina Galore have opened for include Propagandhi, PUP, and Bleached.
