
OBJECT is a french-italian band comprised of Stephane Pigneul (guitar /bass/bass VI /voice), Alessio Ciborio Gioffredi (drums) and Danilo Scuccimarra on tour (guitar).
After years of concerts and happenings, OBJECT released a debut five track EP in 2007. The press greeted the record with enthusiasm, citing influences such as Ulan Bator, Joy Division, Virago and Sonic Youth. A Place to Hide, their first 's ten track album was recorded and produced by Amaury Cambuzat (Ulan Bator, Faust) It was mastered in Bologna (Italy) by Francesco Donadello and Amaury Cambuzat .
Object - French/Italian duet - met while working with Ulan Bator at a time they were both looking to explore a more violent and dirty approach to cold wave with elements of dark and minimalist pop mixed in.
