Today's 3 members met first in 1999 when they used to play as "Aïda" together with a trompetist, a sax and a piano player. Four years later the band split up and Ojo was born. Bass, drums and guitar remained. The powerfull combination focusses on instrumental and psychedelic Math Rock, atypical rhytmic structures meet precise and razor-sharp guitar reefs. Ojo's music works best when played on stage, their concerts are sweaty and exhausting, they convey a stunning energy without giving the audience a chance to breath. In 2006 Ojo won the Pure Demo contest and reached the semi-finals of the belgian "Concours circuit". In 2009 the promotional EP "Leaving paradise" was recorded and the band is more eager then ever to perform live.
