THE TURBO A.C'S Punk / Rock
Automatic
The Turbo A.C.'s are three guys who don't mess around when it comes to making Rock-n-Roll! The Turbo A.C.'s have emerged from the energetic roots of punk rock. Combining intense surf guitar twang with honest lyrics that scream "LIVE TO WIN" and contagious sing along choruses a la Misfits, the A.C.'s churn out a their own brand of greaser-punk dragstrip rock that has been described as Dick Dale meets Motorhead.

Although hailing from New York City, The Turbo A.C.'s never try to wave that common "NYC band" flag. When asked "What's it like to be a NYC band," bassist Michael Dolan will always reply, "We're not... we're an international rock and roll machine!" Nevertheless, The A.C.'s did get their start in NYC blowing away crowds at the legendary CBGB's, gaining respect from all sides, doing shows with Social Distortion, Sick of it All, even No Doubt. It was back in 1996 when world famous NY hard-core label Blackout Records founder (and huge Turbo A.C.'s fan) Bill Wilson put out the first Turbo A.C.'s LP Damnation Overdrive. Touring the U.S. and Europe, the A.C.'s would soon experience the uphill battle of being a punk-rock band on a hardcore label. It was after the band got stuck squatting in Germany and Italy while on tour that they adopted the skull and monkey wrench as their logo, representing the music as well as their endurance while facing hardship.

Whether The Turbo A.C.'s are back where they started on the East
Coast playing basement punk rock shows with the Dropkick Murphys, or
on stage in front of 10,000 people at a festival in Europe, the style
and integrity has remained intact. THE SONGS ARE FUEL FOR LIFE, AND
THE MESSAGE IS LIVE TO WIN!
