Dirty and nasty but catchy, Gravekvlt’s sound is an impious brew of black metal,
d-beat punk, old school death metal and a lot of rock’n’roll. The 4 guys from Nantes
(France) just mix everything they love, creating an alternate reality where the 80’s
extreme metal forefathers would have admitted listening to coldwave and hard rock.
Without getting stuck in one particular subgenre but always consistent, Gravekvlt
sticks to their owns personal version of speed and darkness… Get ready for a ride in a
ghost train smelling like old tomb, dried blood and burnt amplifiers !

It was the dream of 2 old friends : A man who thought he was a horse, and another one who wished to be an old car.
During a summer massage session in Belgium, these bastards were inspired to create a new musical project. They started to render some riffs, added some black/speed metal touch and decided to make it this way : D.HORSE would play the Bass and vocals and T. EXHUMATOR would play the guitars and backings...Then both inverted their roles.
R. CEROSS came a (little) bit later as a drummer and quickly the band recorded a 3 tracks demo. This one is only available on some obscure bolivian distro and 50 DIY tapes in Europe.
The band defend its vision of black/speed/rock and share reat and wild time with people around the world. The lyrics mostly talk about satan, booze, poverty, dystopia, bad cars, and love but really few.
