ARKANGEL (BE) Metal / Hardcore
Arkangel
ARKANGEL has been going 18 years strong and as one of the first bands to emerge in the European metal core scene and one of the main band’s to influence a generation, they return triumphantly with their debut album for GSR Music, namely ARKANGEL is your Enemy, which is a modern day classic that revisits the mid to late 90’s metal core genre and adds a modern day twist to bring you something fresh and vibrant that rages from start to finish with all the subtlety of a wrecking ball.   The vocals from Baldur are vicious and relentless and have always been one of the strongest points of ARKANGEL and remain that way on ARKANGEL is your Enemy. Matching the vocal intensity stride for stride, the music crushes you with every riffs and every pounding double bass parts, proving that ARKANGEL can give any band a run for their money in terms of bludgeoning power and that’s just what ARKANGEL is your Enemy offers the listener. It’s not a pretty album with catchy hooks, it’s merciless all the way through and is written for the stage, written for maximum violence on the dance floor.   There are no moments of weakness, no moments for you to relax and take a breath, it’s just one punishing aural assault after another until the final seconds. With a rich history that has seen ARKANGEL perform all over the World including the States, Canada and Japan as well as numerous countries all over Europe, with ARKANGEL is your Enemy will see ARKANGEL retread old stamping grounds and visit new places where audiences will be devastated by their crushing live shows. ARKANGEL will definitely be your enemy.
Do Or Die

DO OR DIE connaîtra cependant à ce moment là des moments difficiles.

Length Of Time

Since 1997 LOT has covered Europe and the rest of the world (USA, Iceland, Canada) supporting bands such as All Out War, Cold As Life, Biohazard and Morning Again, as well as played numerous festivals like Pukkelpop (B), Evilfest (UK), European HC Party (NL), Hellfest-Syracuse (USA), Superbowl of HC (F) and Goodlife Summer Fest (B).

On their first 3 albums their vision of the world is depicted as a dark and pessimistic universe, their ideas and lyrics clashing with the usual clich..s and dreamers of the hardcore scene.

Length Of Time’s music is full of true background metal influences, allying with the sounds and the heavy weights of heavy metal, who are without mention Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains and other geniuses with obscure tendencies.

For 2003 Length Of Time puts their stamp on a style, which marks the end of a quiet year, spent preparing and recording their latest album "ANTIWORLD", which contains 10 tracks, exploring different themes, may it be utopia (rock 'n' roll, attitude, showbusiness,...) or devastation (globalization, war, society,...), embracing each human being.

"ANTIWORLD" stands for a symbol, well adjusted to our era, which we are free to define ourselves. The mixing and production was assigned to Andr.. Gielen (Channel Z..ro, Deviate, Asphyxia,...) and Philippe Renotte, who have captured the strength and freshness of LOT, available to them on one single, unique album "ANTIWORLD".

While the band was on the road with Suicidal Tendencies, Madball, Ignite and more, as part of the 2003 Eastpack Resistance Tour, "Antiworld" got released on Roadrunner Records in France.

After being 2 years and a half on hiatus, the band has taken the way back to the stages...

KICKBACK (FR) Metal / Hardcore
Kickback

Some bands are famous, others are infamous and Kickback from Paris, are most defintiely the latter. With a history that is rife with controversey, violence and hatred along with a middle finger and fuck you attitude to the hardcore scene that spawned them, Kickback return with their first album in almost 10 years titled No Surrender. Kickback continue where they left on No Surrender and still are fuelled by the hate that drives them. Stephen's vocals are as raw and pissed off as they ever were, spitting venom and rage with every twisted line of contempt. The music is a barrage of metallic riffing and thunderous drumming that lurches with groove forcing you to bang your head. With a history that spans almost 20 years and with thousands of records sold worldwide this is a much anticipated release for many people and is a continuation of the band's already powerful and destructive legacy. Kickback are very much back on the map and will be a force to be reckoned with in 2009 when thoughts and ideas have become weak and watered down and an attitude of following the leader with a sheep like mentality has become the norm, Kickback are here to tip the scales and upset the balance. Let the controversey continue.
