Created in 1998, DEWBACK knew several modifications of line up but never of musical direction. Influenced by bands like Sick of it All, Madball, Pro-Pain, Biohazard or Hatebreed and Backfire, its songs are old school hardcore with metal riffs. Since the beginning, the band is formed by Micky (lyrics/guitar) and Silvio (drums). Magaly (bass) entered the band in 2003 after successive change of bassplayer. The band entered the SAM studio (Liège) on January 2004 to record the "Your World" demo with this line up. On April 2004 and after a lot of audition, the band recruits Kazak, a metal guitarist, who wish enlarge his musical experience by integrating a pure hardcore band. Dewback played some very successful gigs with this line up and had a lot of drafts over Belgium for the end of 2004 and 2005. The first 8 songs album was recorded and mixed at The Noise Factory Studio with Mr. Gerald Jans and was mastered at The C.C.R. Studio. The band is looking now for a record company In the meantime, many gig dates are planned everywhere in Belgium in 2006. The band will also play some gigs in Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands and France
