Bell Witch

Formed by Desmond and ex-drummer/vocalist Adrian Guerra, BELL WITCH released their first self-titled demo in 2011 and partnered with Profound Lore Records for their debut album, Longing, in 2012. The duo’s second LP, the acclaimed Four Phantoms (2015) was recognized as one of doom metal’s triumphs of the year. The band extensively toured in North America and Europe, securing notable festival appearances (Roadburn, Basilica Soundscape, Sled Island, Psycho CA).

ORTEGA (NL) Sludge / Doom / Post Metal
Ortega
Formed in 2007, the band recorded their first album in 2009 after a series of gigs, wich they eventually released it in January 2010. The album 1634 was recorded and mixed by JB van der Wal (Dr. Doom, Herder, Aborted), who is also known for his work for Dr. Doom, Greyline, Grinding Halt and Suffering Quota.   1634, released as an conceptalbum, received many great reviews. The CD was packaged in a limited handmade cover. In 2011 they re-released the album on cassette.   Aesthetic Death records re-released 1634 in 2012 as deluxe black on black digipack with uv spot varnish, 8-page booklet and renewed artwork.   The band went back into the studio in 2011, again with JB van der Wal, to record their follow-up EP A Flame Never Rises On Its Own, which was released by Badger Records in 2012.   In 2012 They went to the studios yet again to record The Serpent Stirs; a sonic voyage. A trial of battles with inner demons, which binds us in our mind. Released on vinyl by Narshardaa Records and as a limited cassette by Tartarus Records.   The murky depths of Ortega’s sound drag a darker yet more poignant carcass ashore with Crows, their latest recording. A collision of doom, sludge and noise tells a story of man looking inward and onward.    Crows is a part of their yet unnamed album, to be released later in 2014 by Black Bow Records on vinyl and Tartarus Records on cassette.
VVOVNDS

VVOVNDS is what happens when the youth attack meets an experienced attack. A mix between young, impassioned kids and seasoned, rejuvenated veterans. While we can talk about what bands members of VVOVNDS were in in the past, this does not matter. Pushing hardcore beyond it's stretching point while still remaining with two feet deep in their love for the genre. A mix of harsh blackened powerviolence, hateful sludge and overly-reverbed vocals. Violence reigns supreme.
