Born from the ashes of various belgian rock, hardcore, and metal bands, Burning In Vegas started at the end of 2004. While they define theirselves as a rock outfit, genre boundaries are often crossed to blend in pop and metal flavors to the music. After finding the right lineup and recording some first tracks, the 2005-06 years are spent road-testing their live set in venues across the land (Magasin 4, Witloof Bar, Kriekelaar, VK, Vitamine Z, MJs,). The band is currently working on its first album, which is slated for a 2007 release.

DOLLSEX's Latest Blog Entry [Subscribe to this Blog] [View All Blog Entries] About DOLLSEX Dollsex was founded in Charleroi in 1997 with the aim of doing concerts in the region.Over two years time, theyve played one concert after the other, won contests with flying sounds, and in 2000 recorded their first demo.The audience found the groups originality to be appealing in a very hard-core way. In 2001 they recorded another demo, included in local compilation created by Youth Associations. Notwithstanding around 70 concerts played with the likes Pleymo(fr), Linea 77(it), Blindside(sw), Wednesday 13(us), and recognition at prestigious competitions such as Emergenza, Concourt Circuit and Rock Around, the group hits a snag and splits at the end of 2001, as band members follow their own, diverging paths But by 2003 Dollsex are back together, with the same name but an added dimension. On the lookout for an originality without limits, today Dollsex has a sound in which styles as diverse as hardcore, death, hip hop, thrash and Nu metal can be heard. The result is on the 3-title demo recorded in October 2003 at Brussels Molière Studio. October 2006 : Release of their first album called SUPREMATISM, featuring 13 tracks recorded by Stefan Kraemer and Mastered By Alan Ward at Electric city. Depuis son premier concert en décembre 2001, Melchior avec son rock fort mais mélodique, ne cesse d’avancer. D’abord repéré par deux organisations locales réputées, l’AlternativeRockFoundation et l’ASBL Chant du Possible, Melchior jouera à peine un an après sa création sur la scène de l’Autumn Rock Festival aux côtés de groupes tels que Ghinzu, Da Familia, Mirrorball , Hollywood Porn Stars et Jéronimo, fera la première partie de Sharko au Salon à Silly et la première partie de YEL à un Autumn Club. <br><br> Ces prestations attireront l’attention de la télévision locale, Antenne Centre, qui leur consacrera une émission K Rock avec interview et 4 morceaux live, émission qui sera également diffusée quelques mois plus tard sur la télévision régionale Bruxelloise. <br><br> Première consécration, lorsqu’en mai 2004, Melchior se verra sélectionné parmis plus de 30 groupes par un jury de professionnels pour participer à la finale à 4 du concours Sacrés Belges, remportera le Prix du Public et sera propulsé sur la scène Sacrés Belges aux Fêtes de la musique à La Louvière en ouverture des festivités, et en première partie de Jeff Bodart aux Fêtes de la Musique à Chatelet. <br><br> La seule envie du groupe actuellement est de jouer, jouer et encore jouer, et se trouver un public, qui actuellement ne cesse de grandirÂ…
