DRUMCORPS (US) Metal / Electro / Breakcore
Drumcorps
Aaron Spectre started out playing drums in central Massachusetts hardcore bands at age 16. At 19 he moved to New York City and began DJing and producing Jungle, Drum & Bass, and Ambient music. He moved to Berlin at 23, released several sold-out vinyl 12"s, and began touring on the strength of his live sets.

Influenced by Curl Up and Die, Converge, Botch and Neurosis amongst others, Aaron started Drumcorps at 24,adding live guitar to his sets, as always bringing raw energy and enthusiasm from his hardcore days. He’s since maintained a ferocious tour schedule throughout Europe, North America, and Japan, building a solid fanbase the hard way.

“one of the world’s most talented musicians... awe-inspiring” - XLR8R Magazine

Back again in Boston (Usa) in 2008, it will be a rare opportunity to see him back in Belgium, after his memorable sets at Durbuy Rock, Rock Herk and Dour Festivals the same year.

Otto Von Schirach vs. Gabe Serbian (The Locust)
Otto Von Schirach was raised in Miami, which as a child exposed him to a wild hybrid of music that continues to influence his sound today including Miami bass, gangsta rap, death metal/grindcore, and Afro-Cuban music. He released his first works on the Schematic label. A meeting with Ipecac labelhead/avant-garde/metal legend Mike Patton resulted in the 18-track breakcore Maxipad DeTention released on Ipecac in 2006.

Gabe Serbian is an American drummer and guitarist, most famous for his work in The Locust, Cattle Decapitation, Head Wound City and Holy Molar. He is recognized as a very capable drummer, as showcased on recent Locust albums.

This collaboration is gonna be awesome!

NARROWS (US) Post-punk / Noise / Hardcore
Narrows
feat. Botch, Unbroken, Some Girls and These Arms Are Snakes members!

Spread out across both the United States and two continents, Narrows exists despite geographical inconveniences for the sole purpose of creating devastating noise. Though outside obligations will most likely relegate the live Narrows experience to a truly rare event, the shared need to exorcise their collective demons fuels the trans-global project. Dave Verellen (Botch, Roy), Rob Moran (Unbroken, Some Girls, Over My Dead Body), Ryan Frederiksen (These Arms Are Snakes, Nineironspitfire), Jodie Cox (Tropics, Rohame, Bullet Union), and Sam Stothers (Makeout Boys, Quarantine) are busy men with busy lives. The Narrows project is not meant to define and drive their individual lives. Rather, the band serves as a respite; a rare opportunity to escape; a vengeful howl from the basest corner of the psyche. Terminally bleak, counter-intuitive to the standard rock paradigm, and at odds with everyone, Narrow's debut on Deathwish is an angry slab of nihilistic abandon.

Daggers

"Santa Karla have delivered a crushingly effective blast of metallic hardcore that's every bit as good, if not better, than anything else I've heard in the genre this year."

A Short Fanzine About Rocking

THE LINK (BE) Metal / Hardcore
The Link

The Link was born near the end of 2007, emerging from a few Brussel based musicians willing to create, innovate and complete the belgian underground scene. But that doesn't really matter. The Link matured , evolved and is working hard every single day to make itself strong and mature, brick after brick. Its architects are Nico, Jp, John, Greg and Mike surrounded by a few friends, pushing them ahead. But that doesn't really matter. The Link is a self produced band, unsigned and wishing to play live. Again, again and again, despite the weather, the conditions, the mood, the obstacles, the critics and the doubts. But that doesn't really matter actually. The point is that the Link wants to see your head banging, eyes closing up, sweat and smile when listening to their sound, live or from their recordings. The Link wants to share pure energy with you all and send shivers down your spines. THAT does matter.
