MOKER stands for powerful, fast, rhythmic and brutal Death Metal with an important Deathcore-attitude and an overwhelming touch of Mosh-heaviness, like a fuckin‘ sledge hammer! <br><br> MOKER was formed in 2003 when two members (Wouter Sels & Angelo Mannestätter) of the metalcore outfit LINCHPIN wanted to explore more brutal deathmetal influences in their music. Vocalist Ad De Wachter jointed MOKER during the summer of 2003, who did some backing vocals in different bands, so their brutality could be added with some vocal sickness. Stijn De Wever played bass but after a while he left the band because of personal reasons. A bass player was still needed, the solution was in fact at hand’s reach. Wouter brought in his old friend Fréderic Wauters, who was one of the two vocalists of the metalcoreband LINCHPIN and he was perfect for the job. The band was completed and it could now seriously move forward. MOKER started playing shows allover the country and beyond the boundaries, building up a solid live reputation (right in your face). <br><br> Songwriting was going well, and in February 2005 MOKER decided to record a first split CD with fellow Belgians OUTCAST. The split CD which came out on Shiver Records, contained three songs in which we have made vast improvements in our approach to modern brutal Death Metal. The split CD was recorded and mixed at Studio 13 and mastered at CCR Studio. More shows followed in support of the album (see show archives). After a while MOKER wanted a second guitarist and the talented Dirk Broeren (MORDRED, AEONS OF OLD) got the spot. <br><br>

EX-NIHIL could be described as a deconstructed death metal band with heavy technical melodies and imaginative structures... <br><br> But EX-NIHIL can also be seen through its biographical point of view, as a musical project that started during spring 2004, when Jeffrey (guitar player) and Geoffrey (ex-Crazy About Silence drummer) decided to bring together their effort in a sort of new deconstruction-oriented musical experience... <br><br> In December of the same year, after a period of hard work, Bruno, also known as Stake 's charismatic legend, accepted to join the duo with Frank (ex-Nemesis Irae bass player). <br><br> Together, they started to deconstruct their influences in a way to recompose new musical identities which would be free from undue bias. A new chapter of brutality started to take shape, EX-NIHIL was born as fresh blood rose from nothing. after several working month, we have found a second guitarist : Pierre a.k.a Pich. < « When blood burns » was born in September 2006 from the fusion of two young bands from Brussels « Mushpeet (hardcore)» and « Vidism (melodic metal core)». <br><br> In the beginning, there was Nico singing, Brian and Ben playing guitar, Fabian playing bass and John at the drums. The band soon begins composing a couple of songs, giving itself a musical identity and a particular universe. <br><br> The guys are influenced by the numerous bands they like, mostly involved in the new American scene (« New wave of American heavy metal ») but also in hardcore, thrash, and death metal. <br><br> Therefore, you can hear melodic parts, mixed with « beat down » ‘s, and screams / growls definitely efficient. <br><br> After two months of hard rehearsing, « When blood burns » ‘s line-up encounters some changes in November 2006, as Nico decides to quit for personal reasons. <br><br> Then Fabian takes the mic. But that change is followed by a stand-by period, because of the intensive search for a bassist and a second singer. December 2006 is a new start for the band, with the arrival of Gaëtan (ex-Vidism ) as second singer and Arnaud (ex-singer of Dark sensation and guitarist in Bloody hands) at the bass. <br><br>

The band Omerta is founded in July 2004. Tijs(guitars) and Sven (ex-vocals) had the idea of beginning a metal band because they missed something in their previous bands. They searched for band members and ended up with Basten on bass and Fre on drums. They started rehearsing and looking for a style which suited every band member. They felt there was something missing in the band, so they searched for a second guitar player and a second vocalist to complete the line-up. Kenneth and Frodo (ex-vocals Vanity, Reduced To A Whisper, Abandoned) were chosen to join the band and the line-up was complete. In the summer of 2005 Sven left the band. Due to his departure we needed a new vocalist, but now we wanted a brutal death grunt. Pieter (ex-vocals Solifugia, Tronius Mind R.I.P ) joined the band and this is our current line-up. Due to all the different influences from our band members we developed a more brutal style of metal core, mixing death metal, thrash, hardcore, ... into one. With a lot of motivation and effort from the whole band, we reached the point where we could finally hit the stage. In January 2006 we had our first gig and it was a blast. We played 24 shows with alot of cool bands but in december 2006 we parted ways with our drummer and he was replaced by Mathew who also drums in invictrius (www.myspace.com/invictrius) a Belgian deathmetalband. 2007 starts with a new line-up, new ideas and recording plans for a first release that will be unleashed later this year so be prepared!!!
