Che Sudaka combines Argentine and Colombian musicians which were known in Buenos Aires originally under the name of Correcaminos („Roadrunner“) before they moved together to Barcelona. There the band broke up and gave chance to a new project. Che Sudaka was the result of having fun in experimenting musically and of the struggle of surviving and they arose from the environment of the street-music-scene in the Mediterranean seaport. The streets, bars, metros and suburbian trains of the Cercanía were the first stages where the boys trained both their musical interaction and their entainer qualities. Clownery, improvisation and full commitment were basic requirements to get money at all. Still today that energy and the willingness to give it all to the audience are the most remarkable attributes of that band. They dedicated their debut „Trippie town“ (2003) to the „Plaza del Trippie“ (Plz.George Orwell) in Barcelonas Old Town - meeting point for buskers from all over the world and source of inspiration for a fusion of various styles. And so their debut feature is a product of the most different musical influences: ten songs take the listener on a journey through Reggae, Ragga, Rumba, Drum&Bass and Argentine folklore. Che Sudaka were noticed internationally for the first time through their contribution “Sin papeles” (without papers) on the sampler “La Colifata” which represents the Mestizo-scene of Barcelona. Last but not least their musical development was affected as well by the friendship to Manu Chao and Radio Bemba. For the production of their second and current album “Alerta Bihotza” (2005) they could enlist the bassist Gambeat who is jointly responsible both for the harder and straighter sound and for the elaboration of their extreme energetic live show. Because of their connection with the social counterculture their lyrics are about the problems of immigration, social injustice and war. The multicultural spirit of their latest work expresses itself in Spanish, Catalan, Basque, English, Portuguese and French songs which combine that explosive power of Punk and Reggae and which make the band so unique at their live shows so that the reviews compare them with the legendary Mano Negra... In autumn 2005 Che Sudaka completed their first furious tour across Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland where they left a sweaty and happy audience everywhere. And in autumn 2006 the hyperactive boys from Barcelona will be back again to fight with Latin-Punk, Ska and Ragga-Reggae for a better and fairer world. <br><br>

Las Buenas Ondas métissage de cÂœur, présentation du 2e album : <br><br> Le projet Buenas Ondas naît de la rencontre de 3 jeunes lycéens passionnés de musique dans les années 90 : Le Co (piano), Houya One (chant) et Ché Güero (chant). Grâce au home studio du Co les premières chansons voient le jour et l'envie de les jouer live les pousse tout naturellement à s'adjoindre quelques complices. L'arrivée de la Jah (scratch, chant), Jeellou (basse) el coyote (batterie) et Dweez (guitare) fera évoluer la bande vers une formule bien adaptée à la scène, distillant un savoureux cocktail de musiques métissées. Les textes en français et espagnol sont composés de métaphores inspirées du quotidien. Ils oscillent entre les mélodies hispaniques d' Houya one (d'origine espagnole) et le rap latino du Ché Güero (né à Buenos Aires et imprégné de pas mal d'années passées en Amérique latine). <br><br> Mélange énergique et ensoleillé de reggae, ska, funk, hip-hop latino, ce groupe bruxellois mondialement connu en Belgique génère une ambiance de fiesta et propage avec générosité ses bonnes ondes. Issu de différentes collaborations, l’album ‘Pura Vida’ voit le jour en 2008 et marque un tournant décisif dans la démarche du groupe qui s’ouvre aux scènes européennes après un sympathique palmarès de festivals en Belgique. Un deuxième album enregistré avec de beaucoup plus gros moyens sortira début mars 2010. Il réussit la gageure de reproduire l’énergie du « live » sur un cdÂ… Résultat en avant première au M4 le 4 mars ! <br><br> <br><br>
