DEAFENING SKY
Hardcore

Deafening Sky is a five pieces band that wants to share its point of view about the world with as many people as possible, and touch them with their music.
They want to spread their ideas and thoughts about various topics, such as politics, philosophy, mass-media manipulation, human cruelty, war, life in general, etc... Although Deafening Sky is not actively involved in politics, they think that communicating may open people’s mind in a positive way. The idea behind the band is to translate this mindset into music, which goes from intense melodies to harsh musical agressions.
Deafening Sky saw the light of that world whom they speak about in 1999, by the impulsion of then 16 year old hardcore kids. After three years of existence and two demos, they began to find a sound of their own, and they had the opportunity to play everywhere in Belgium, with some great bands, such as Heaven Shall Burn, Caliban, Morda, Length of Time, Backbone, Course of Action, etc...
By late 2004, and after a few line up changes, they went to the “De Studio”. From that short session (5 days, mix included) came out their first mini cd, called “Maybe the End”.
It earned many good reviews in european specialized webzines. This MCD also allowed them to play some good shows along with some well known bands: 36 Crazyfists, Arkangel, Do or Die, Chimaera, Crimson Falls, Jane, The Setup, The Arrs, and many more...
Now, Deafening Sky is still busy playing shows to promote “Maybe the End”. They are also writing new material. So be prepared: they are ready to rock your city with a bunch of new songs!
THE ARRS
Hardcore
