A duo of two dj’s, Beatbutcher the pad-drummer and Odilon the scratch-singer, met during the Android summer festival on Saturn in the year 3011.

They got their style from geeking for centuries over the galaxies, always looking for the perfect beat.

Because of Fabot, one of the most famous Zaktarian sensei in Belgikistan, they found out how to use the force and became worldchampions in the I.D.A. team-battle.

As residents of planet earth, they‘re here to play electronic music like an acoustic instrument.

Drawing their inspiration from the Bay Area stage and from such artists as The Glitch Mob, Lazer Swords, Flying Lotus, Aphex Twin, Brainfeeder team, Mount Kimbie or Warp factory, Turnsteak’s 'Pollution Sonore' marks their first official release, a free 5-tracks EP, that presents a sample of their work in 3 brand new productions and 2 remixes of Amanda Blank & Mochipet / Jahcoozi), and which is cleverly mixing ultra-complex beats, bass-driven music to electrified barb-wired dubstep, from old to new school, Scottish Lucky Me raiders to old Loefah mad riddims...

After starting with the craziness of turntablism action (French championship IDA 2009), the band stands out now with the alchemy they create - recording or on stage. Indeed, their performance is recognized for its dynamism contrasting with the 'bored lonely man facing a PC' that too often features today's style, you know whut’ we mean…
