Electrocute is a Los Angeles-based electro band originally formed in Berlin. <br><br> They are rock'n'roller skates mean guitar and electronic soup chicks who play twisted pop, iggy pot, baddass low down and dirty lolli bop music. <br><br> This is girls on the run, stripped down rock'n'roll made on whatever machines or weird electronics the duo dug up in their cramped studio: The Gummi Zelle (or Rubber Room to those unfamiliar with Germanic dialect), all brought together with a barrage of edgy guitar riffs, sassy lyrics brimming with sarcastic wit, and further compacted with a catchy charm that will delight the pop-hook slut in everyone. <br><br> Electrocute are here to rock your world, pop your psych-cherry and make your girlfriend/boyfriend/wife/husband/mum/dad jealous. <br><br>

Born end 2002 after a digital encounter between Yeti Popstar and Lizzie Stardust, Velvet Underwear. Started as a classic electro-pop band but their big no-fi tendencies quickly brought them to make more noisy stuff. A kind of electro-pop who assimilates glamour and noise in an ironic and spontaneous way. In 2003 the duo releases the pink "jet set EP" (prejudice prod.) who quickly became an underground electro classic. End 2004 folowed the "playmate EP" on the german label Krautpop! run by Chumbawambas ex bass player Paul J. Greco. Lot of gigs in Benelux and Germany followed sometimes alones sometimes with Jeff Jazz, Mysterious Englishman who has an unlimited admiration for Tom Cruise and the FC Liverpool. Begin 2006 Velvet Underwear, who have been joint by the gloomy Mr.Eagle Trash Cherry on guitar, finished their first cd "Watch My Body" Released on Krautpop! For 2007 expect 2 releases 'electricity' on a split 7" with us band mercurial rage on MPLSLTD and a brand new 12" ep featuring 'the same' on Roulette Rekz .
