ENTHRONED (BE) Black Metal
Enthroned

ENTHRONED was formed in 1993 and plays extreme Black Metal.

The band released a 5-track promo tape in mid 1994 which brought them to the attention of several independent labels. A 7” split EP with Ancient Rites was then released by the underground label Afterdark Records. After the demise of Afterdark, Evil Omen Records (a sub-division of Osmose Productions) released ENTHRONED's first full-length release, Prophecies of Pagan Fire. Shortly thereafter, the band enlisted a second guitarist named Nornagest. Since the release of their first demo, ENTHRONED have always nurtured their live reputation. They have shared the stage with the biggest acts of the BM scene. In 1996, along with Ancient Rites and Bewitched, ENTHRONED invades Europe with an extensive tour. In April 1997, as they were about to record Towards the Skullthrone of Satan, the drummer Cernunnos took his life. This was without a doubt a heavy blow to the remaining members, but in true ENTHRONED style, the band went ahead to record the new album in memory of Cernunnos, after having recruited a session drummer. At the close of 1988, the band entered Abyss Studios to give birth to The Apocalypse Manifesto. This third album was released in May 1999. No other title could better reflect the intensity of this satanic masterpiece, which dealt with the biblical concept of the Apocalypse as interpreted by the strict satanic perspective. ENTHRONED rounded off the 20th Century on tour with Marduk and continued to take European crowds by storm with several live performances.

2000 was a busy year for ENTHRONED. The band parted ways with Nebiros and recruited Neraath as their new axeman, who then successfully passed his trial by fire on a German mini tour followed by several other European shows and the recording of Armoured Bestial Hell in the Real Sound Studio (Germany).

This fourth album was released in April 2001. Unfortunately, the band was to endure another line up change. Blackthorn was released from his duties and was worthily replaced by Alsvid from the French black metal band, Seth. Nevertheless, ENTHRONED continued to play many live gigs in and around Europe, as well as in the US. In early 2002, ENTHRONED signed to NAPALM RECORDS releasing their fifth full-length recording effort, Carnage in Worlds Beyond, later that year. In 2005, Enthroned released their first official live album, Black Goat Ritual, recorded during their successful tour in Brazil. After desecrating several stages and festivals, some problems occurred within the band and ENTHRONED asked their long time vocalist Sabathan to leave the band, Nornagest taking over the vocals and recruiting Phorgath on bass duties. In June 2007, ENTHRONED recorded their seventh and most accomplished album Tetra Karcist, seeing the Integration of new drummer Ahephaim . At the dawn of 2008, Enthroned signed a new allegiance with Sweden’s Regain Records which lead to an extensive & successful European tour with Gorgoroth extending to South & latin america as headliner. In 2009, ex-Gorgoroth drummer Garguf replaced Ahephaim on drums and Neraath took his old position back in ENTHRONED, leading the way for the up comming apocalypse named: Pentagrammaton. The whole concept of "Pentagrammaton" deals with direct approach: a warmer sound, natural drums, heavy guitars for a lyrical concept based on lived experiences and facts, somehow something very personal lets say! This next opus is more extreme, surprising, dark and filthy!

PANCHRYSIA (BE) Black Metal / Rock
Panchrysia

Panchrysia has been marching on these hellish playgrounds since the winter of 1998. 2 high quality demo-tapes, 'Nimisque Inhumane' & 'Exaltation', has brought them under the attention of Belgian companies. They've recorded for labels as LSP Company & Soulreaper Records, resulting in 2 excellent albums.
'In Obscure Depths' (2002, LSP Company), their first, positioned them as a talented newcomer. 'Malicious Parasite' (2004, Soulreaper Records) marked a step up to ultra-intense, uncompromising & fast black metal. Full of cold December chords, this album takes you on a journey through fear, desperation & aggression.
In June 2006, Panchrysia released a split-album,‘The Ultimate Crescendo Of Hell’ (2006, Shiver Records) together with Belgian trashmates Iconoclasm.

Newborn Imperial Gospels

A new album, which will be entitled ‘Deathcult Salvation’, has been recorded during the wintermonths of 2006 and 2007. Drums and bass were recorded in november 2006 at the Belgian DUNGEON Studios. In January 2007, Panchrysia headed north to finish the recordings at the Swedish ENDARKER Studios.
Mixing and mastering were in the hands of producer Magnus 'DEVO' Andersson. His qualities ensured the deliverance of a well-balanced and powerfull album. Additional vocals on this album were done by MORTUUS (Marduk/Funeral Mist) and Leen De Haes (Bint).

Lyricwise, Panchrysia is being inspired by many books, from Nietzsches ‘Antichrist’ and ‘Also sprach...’, over Joseph Conrads ‘Heart of Darkness’, from the Necronomicon to the holy bible, etc. All reflecting our vision on life, human nature, christianity and the modern world.

Live Agression

The band has built up massive live-experience throughout the years. Touring through Europe has taken place with some of the greatest in the field. In June 2004, Panchrysia attacked France, UK, Holland, Germany & Switzerland together with MALEVOLENT CREATION. In September 2005, Panchrysia travelled through France, Spain and Portugal with MARDUK. Some others Panchrysia has played with on several occasions: Impaled Nazarene, Ancient Rites, Aborted, Aeturnus, Red Harvest, Cannibal Corpse, Hypocrisy, Carpathian Forest, Ragnarok, Exodus, Vader, Belphegor, Anorexia Nervosa, Kampfar, Enthroned, etc

Cult of Erinyes

Drawing its energy from the darkest thoughts of its creators, this new extreme and punitive outfit intends to evolve in the realms of Black Metal while pushing its limits a bit further. Spawned with the intention to distil arstistic audacity into respected traditions, Cult of Erinyes belongs to the forbidden experience, where music is merely a symptom of a higher truth. Ritualistic hymns, vicious and twisted vocals, furious rhythmics and ambient digressions are only a few weapons which will make of Cult of Erinyes a band to be reckoned with.

Formed late 2009, the Cult wasted no time, recording its first EP "Golgotha" less than a year later. The EP was released early 2011 on deluxe digipack through Kunsthauch & Dunkelkunst, as well as on a limited edition tape through Caverna Abismal Records. Insatiable, the band re-entered the Blackout Multimedia studio late 2010 to record its first full-length album with Phorgath (Enthroned, Emptiness). "A Place to Call My Unknown" was released on Les Acteurs de l'Ombre Production around mid-2011 and is almost unanimously revered by media and audiences. But yet again, the Cult is hungry for more and is already contemplating new horizons...

Though not willing to expose itself too much to live experiences in order to keep them as intense as honest, Cult of Erinyes has already shared the stage with respectable outfits such as Aura Noir, Lifelover and IXXI,Natan and Monads. To be followed, of course...
