EX-NIHIL could be described as a deconstructed death metal band with heavy technical melodies and imaginative structures...
<br><br>
But EX-NIHIL can also be seen through its biographical point of view, as a musical project that started during spring 2004, when Jeffrey (guitar player) and Geoffrey (ex-Crazy About Silence drummer) decided to bring together their effort in a sort of new deconstruction-oriented musical experience...
<br><br>
In December of the same year, after a period of hard work, Bruno, also known as Stake 's charismatic legend, accepted to join the duo with Frank (ex-Nemesis Irae bass player).
<br><br>
Together, they started to deconstruct their influences in a way to recompose new musical identities which would be free from undue bias. A new chapter of brutality started to take shape, EX-NIHIL was born as fresh blood rose from nothing. after several working month, we have found a second guitarist : Pierre a.k.a Pich. We have equally foreseen dates (in SHOWS sections) And we record a first demo in the course of the spring 2006.

PSALM
Metal

Psalm is a human concept based on personal relationships and on created experiences. We are prisoners of our own lives, nobody can help us. Their music is dedicated to the people who realize that selfishness is not a way of life. When you listen to Psalm for the first time, it's very difficult to perceive their influences. That's because their influences are just a reflection of what theyve been listening to: Psalm sounds like a new branch of the European scene. Psalms creators had the oportunity to tour around Europe with their previous bands "Broken Promises" and "Zaccharia (headliners European tour, support act of the Sepultura 2003 European tour, the Pressure Fest, San Feliu Fest, Good Life Fest, Vort N Vis Fest and many more...). They have played with bands like: Sepultura, Converge, Martyr ad, Hatebreed, Catharsis, Youth of Today, Poison The Well, Envy, Caliban, Heaven Shall Burn, Burn Hollywood Burn, Jane, Arkangel, Length Of Time, Norma Jean, The Blamed, Bleading Through, Atreyu and many many more. Psalm have recently returned from the Austin Enterprise Studio in Lunenburg, MA USA where they recorded 12 conceptual songs with Steve Austin (lamb of God, Today is The day, Converge, Voivod). Psalm is now ready to rock your mind with their their first album "Fortune's Complexity (in five cycles of torments)" out in April 2006 on genet records!!
