The band was started in February 2008 by Gennady, the guitarist. EOD has quickly found its own sound and style. After some line-up changes, the band has been strengthened by Andrew (Abominable Putridity - bass), the vocalist, and Ruben (ex-Dismantle), bass. Few months later it found the drummer Anton and started to play live shows and preparing for EP recording. Final line-up was completed when Alexey, the second guitarist, come. Ease of Disgust recorded and published the first record EP "The Shell" in the summer of 2009. Then it continued making live shows, preparing for tours and writing material for its new full-length album. But in November 2009 the guys decided to part with vocalist Andrew. They started searching for the new frontman, whom Daniel Orlov became. Later Ease Of Disgust went to the studio again to record new tracks. The single “Constructed” was released in March 2010 and included three tracks from the new album, which the guys are going to record in August 2010. Also in March the band released their first music video for the new song “Constructed”.

Excessively touring their home country and providing support for many international bands‘
european tours, Smashed Face is probably the most promising and, therefore, noticeable
band on Czech Republic’s hardcore/deathcore scene. When live, thrashing through a set of
deathcore infused with solid breakdowns and chugging guitars, it is surprising that such
complicated music could be performed with such an ease. No matter how unfamiliar or
inaccessible extreme metal may be, these guys will get anyone’s head banging.
Ten years and four o!cial releases into their career they may have run too much into territory
that has been explored before, but their upcoming release will de"nitely be an impressive
move that will keep the band in attention, grabbing range as they continue to mature and
"nd themselves in their music.
