GENTLE VEINCUT
Noise Rock

Formed in 1990 ‚Gentle Veincut’ has played plenty of live-shows all over Europe and has released a handful of records. The music is quite loud and can be described as Noiserock/Postpunk with a slight No Wave influence. Some fanzines draw comparisons to bands like The Jesus Lizard, Shellac or Sonic Youth, but nevertheless it has a style of its own. The best way to enjoy the sound is live with a decent drink of your choice.
HEARTBEAT PARADE
Math Rock / Post-hardcore

"Mathrock, hardcore and metal is combined with samples full of spoken word. No singing, but rhythm and guitar riffs that tumble over each other in songs that explode with energy. The threesome from Luxembourg is ever so happy to not have a singer. This way the attention of the audience isn’t diverted to a single person and besides they’re not attached to that nasty verse chorus structure."
After releasing independently a demo and a first EP "Burning Nantucket!", the band released their first and well acclaimed album in February 2013 thanks to Get A Life records and Who's Brain records.
Their second album "Some sort of naked apes" is available since October 2015. The band decided to go for a 100% DIY ethic for this new release. Everything has been handled by the band itself, allowing them to work at their best.
HOLLYWOODFUN DOWNSTAIRS
Noise / Punk

New Zealand's finest aggressive noise punk band Hollywoodfun Downstairs will to tear you a new one with their insane latest single Plastic Fascinations! The three piece who are renowned for their raw guitar-heavy music worked with James Goldsmith (Die Die Die, Cut Off Your Hands, So So Modern and Zowie) on this new single. Goldsmith helped push the bands sound in a new direction, creating a dark mix of atmospheric textures and brutal tones.
"Plastic Fascinations started as an aggressive take on a situation and confrontation of a night - we then re-wrote it before recording the track, into something that is lyrically driven with a spazzy/pop band behind it." - Kurt Williams (Vox/Guitar)
Since their inception in 2011, Hollywoodfun Downstairs have toured internationally alongside acts such as Die Die Die, I Am Giant, Red Beard and Blacklist each time gathering cult-like followings especially in Australia and New Zealand. In 2013, the band were given the opportunity to showcase their hard hitting punk rock on an international stage at SXSW (US) and again in 2014 when the band performed at the Global Music Summit (NZ).

Hollywoodfun Downstairs had New York's Alan Douches (Funeral for a Friend, Every Time I Die, Cloud Nothings) master the album which Douches described it as "very unique, bold and colourful."
Plastic Fascinations is the first single from the bands forthcoming album Reactions which is set for release on August 7 2015 - The album has been described by Kurt Williams (Vox/Guitar) as "big brick wall about to explode!".
