Gigan
GIGAN is the brain-child of founding member; multi-instrumentalist and lyric/conceptual mastermind Eric Hersemann. GIGAN's existence began a decade ago in 2005, after Hersemann's stints in Tampa, FL's Diabolic and Hate Eternal. Prior to that, Eric's time was spent sharpening his blades in his hometown of Chicago, IL with the likes of Chicago legends Burnt Offering and Death-Thrash innovators Lord Blasphemer. After writing, recording and releasing GIGAN's "Footsteps of GIGAN" demo and the first two GIGAN albums (Order of the False Eye on Napalm Records and Quasi-Hallucinogenic Sonic Landscapes on Willowtip Records) in Tampa, Eric relocated to his roots in Chicago and began the writing process for GIGAN's most recent, critically acclaimed masterwork : "Multi-Dimensional Fractal Sorcery and Super-Science".   "Multi-Dimensional Fractal Sorcery and Super-Science" was recorded with Eric's longtime partner in crime; engineer Sanford Parker (who has recorded all three GIGAN albums) , and released in October 2013 on Willowtip Records, to almost universal praise and enthusiasm. In addition to worldwide coverage and publicity in the form of interviews and rave reviews, GIGAN has continued to be blessed with amazing touring opportunities both domestically and internationally. Having been a dedicated touring act for ten years GIGAN has been able to bring Hersemann's twisted visions around the world; much to the delight of GIGAN's ravenous and open minded fan base. GIGAN has been fortunate to share the stage and tour with Cattle Decapitation, Psyopus, Lightning Swords of Death, Grave, Immolation, Vital Remains, Misery Index, Belphegor, Blood Red Throne, Jungle Rot and many more. GIGAN's first foray into the European concert markets saw them on tour with their peers Ulcerate (Relapse Records)and Wormed (Season Of Mist Records) in October 2014. The tour went well enough that GIGAN was immediately invited back to headline a tour of their own in Europe in October 2015! In addition to the European Headliner, GIGAN will also be once again, headlining a US tour in September before Eric begins the work of completing GIGAN's newest opus- to be released in 2016.    Often imitated but NEVER duplicated, GIGAN has and always will be dedicated to the craft of making the most imaginative, fearless and thought provoking extreme metal in the known Universe!!! THRASH IN SPACE!!!
SYK (IT) Metal / Noise
SYK
The band was born with the idea of steF and fed ( both members of the avant grind noise band .psychofagist. ) and the union with the singer Dalila Kayros. In addiction to that they've chosen a well talented bass player, Luca Pissavini.   Their music is complex, 100% structured, tight, sharp, groovy, intense and it goes in every unknown direction.   Their first album "atoma" is based upon the idea that we're constantly living in the past since there's always something more to be discovered.    is there any god out there? is there any truth hidden in the religions?    let's think about FIRE.  thousands years ago fire was something that we can compare to a time machine nowadays. in the modern life fire is something normal that would barely amaze a child but thousands years ago it was like a supernatural event.   The first input to the album concept comes from a Sumerian documentary which brings multiple questions to the table like:   - is it reasonable to think that Sumerian were aliens coming from a planet called Nibiru? - will there be any chance, according to the human technology of that time, to build a Ziggurat or to have detailed informations about constellations?   Today we do not have enough evidence to declare at 100% what was going on thousands years ago so this is something that puts ourselves in a kind of "middle ground" situation.    What we really know at the moment is that our challenge today is a double discover because we don't know where we come from and on the other hand we're still looking at the sky without a sufficient amount of informations.    The only clear evidence is that WE DON'T KNOW. we don't know how egyptians builds the pyramids thousands years ago and we still don't know what are those weird objects that someome filmed from time to time and we still call U.F.O.   the album title is inspired by the koreshian "hollow earth" theory which puts forth the idea that the earth and the universe are contained within a concave sphere, The "atoma" is the name of the inner sun at the centre of our earth.   on the other hand the lyrics are based upon the fact that god's power is directly proportional to the human ignorance.    Think about an aborigines looking at an airplane flying in the sky. He'll probably look at it like an U.F.O.  At that point would be pretty easy for the pilot to introduce himself to the tribal population as GOD and probably they'll start worshipping it and telling to their babies something like "GOD came flying on a bird of thunder etc etc etc...". They'll probably draw strange figures and flying objects and do whatever the "pilot" will ask them to do.    so...what's the truth now? and this is something we can tell about Egyptian, Mayan, Aztecs just to name the most famous examples.   . . . and the final question is: are we different today?   well. It doesn't matter if you're religious or not but it's a matter of fact that milions of people all around the world strongly believes in something like that someone was able to walk on water but on the other hand they will never believe on U.F.O maybe.   so where's the difference now?    think about your everyday life. think about something simple as a phone call. If I want I can call a friend on the other side of the planet. Think about the image doing this and stick it to your brain. Then try to think about the world you're living in. what do you feel the closest option:   A - someone tells you that his friend his able to multiply drinks and to walk on water B - someone show you a U.F.O. filmed with his cell phone   what sounds strange to you? in our real world the option A is called David Copperfield. The option B is something documented thousands time all over the planet. Why do we need real evidence for the option B but we can assume that option A is true even if it's written on a book 2000 years old? In conclusion it's not important what do you think but what's fundamental is to keep on THINKING.    . . . this is what ATOMA is all about . . .
ZYGOMA (BE) Death Metal / Math Rock / Metal
Zygoma
Started off at the beginning of 2008 as a deathmetalband. After the band had some line up changes and bandname changes, the music started to develop more into a technical way of writing progressive (death) metal. While writing songs and playing shows, the band developped into a mathcore/progressive/grind/experimental metalband.   In the summer of 2010, zygoma recorded a first demo/EP called 'FLESH.MADE.VOID' which was self-released. After the release, a short tour including Belgian/UK gigs was ready to go. 2 months of rest followed after the tour because of another line-up change.   A comeback was made at the beginning of 2011 with a new guitarplayer, Joachim. Zygoma started playing lots of shows again spread over Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Czech Republic, United Kingdom and Holland. The Ro(c)koko tour 2011, a tour of 9 days which the band booked themselves, included 3 headline shows and was the band's first real tour experience and set the start of many more to come. In March/April '12, zygoma did a 17 day, DIY booked european tour and went to Holland, Czech Rep, Hungary, Slovakia, Luxembourg and the UK. After this tour, the band decided to go on without guitarist Wez & brought in Kenzo. Late October 2012, Joachim decided to leave the band.   When 2012 came to an end, a small label called ‘The Front Agency’ signed zygoma to release ‘The Forgotten’. Together with the support of ‘Total Deathcore’, they released ‘The Forgotten’ on 22 January 2013. An official releaseshow was played on 9 March in Lokeren (BE) and the band started writing again after this. The rest of 2013 wasn’t that busy but the band had the opportunity to share the stage with bands such as Rolo Tomassi, Heart Of A Coward and Betraying The Martyrs. 2013 concluded with a supportslot on WFAHM’s Belgian goodbye show.    The first thing the band did in 2014 was an Eastern Europe tour that brought it to new places such as Poland, Romania and Ukraine. The tour was a success and definitely gained the band some new fans around Eastern Europe. In March ’14, TZD entered the studio to record a new single which was released December 1st, 2014. In September TZD embarked on a short run in Southern Europe which brought the band to new places as Italy.    The year 2015 started off with another 11 day tour around the UK and Ireland. The band flew to the Irish islands to play the debut Irish concerts. After successfully finishing that tour, main priority was to get the new album written. The recordings of the follow-up for ‘The Forgotten’ began late May ’15.    Shared stage with: Salt The Wound, Rolo Tomassi, War From A Harlots Mouth, Maroon, Truth & Its Burden, Stigma, Betraying The Martyrs, The Algorithm, Crimson Falls, A Plea For Purging, Arsonists Get All The Girls, Six Reasons To Kill, Glasses., Cold Night For Alligators, Martyr Defiled, ShowYourTeeth, Disposed To Mirth, As They Burn, Dead Harts, This Is Colour, Brutality Will Prevail, Heights, Apostate, Fuck The Facts, Hour Of Penance, Heart Of A Coward, Psychofagist, ...
Deadalus

nfluenced by Morbid Angel, Pantera, Meshuggah, Cannibal Corpse…., Deadalus’ style is a bit hard to catch.
In their songs they try to mix several moods. Some loud, disturbing or hard and heavy riffs blended together to form a powerful and complex music..
The lyrics, in English, take us back to real emotions, lived experiences.
The singing is dark and aggressive.
The messages are non-political and mostly talk about subjects like failure to act, people’s lack of reaction against social distress and drift from humanity.
