iconAclass (MC Dälek's new project)

iconAclass is the new  project from MC/producer Will Brooks best known as dälek. As front person and co-producer in the group Dälek he explored the left of center/ wall of noise world ala My Bloody Valentine meets Public Enemy on 6 studio albums.

iconAclass, his newest solo project, see him maintaining the gritty view of boom-bap he is know for, while returning to his roots.

For the Ones is pure hip-hop, hypnotic heavy beats serve as more than just a backdrop for this MC. They focus a spotlight squarely on the lyrics, and iconAclass has a lot on his mind!

Pushing forward into the new millennia with DJ Motiv providing the cuts, iconAclass is the next chapter for this ever evolving musician.

SQUEAKY LOBSTER (BE) Electro / Alternative
Squeaky Lobster

This Brussels-based crustacean's cosmic craft has to be heard to be believed. Sounds spring to life from forgotten corners of your speakers, each one battling for your attention yet always emerging at the right time and the right place, painting its part of the picture. Shards of broken breakbeat litter the sea-bed and form a solid back bone for this invertebrate's innovative use of samples, synths and instrumentation. Leading you from one vast soundscape to the next, complete with unexpected plot twists in foreign waters, Squeaky Lobster's beats take you out of the aquarium and into the abyss.

L.E.G.

In the world of Brussels hip hop, L.E.G. are outsiders. Producing rap at once futuristic and Cosmo-driven, they differentiate themselves from their contemporaries through music influences gleaned from the world of experimental music, and through their use of distorted English-language lyrics. Sublyme Diagonal and Roger3000 produce sounds at once ambiguous and profound, perpetually recycling what they produce independently from one another. Straight out from their cracked Fruity Loops program, the result is this 'sonic vessel' in which Citizen Ledge glides and finds his inspiration, recounting his doubts as to the future of the world and his own existential abyss.
