MOHA! (DE/AF) Experimental / Noise / Avant Garde / Rock
MoHa!

According to BBC online: MoHa! offer a kind of arhythmically funky heavy metal musique concrete, sourced from electric guitar, drums and a laptop.

Text from Rune Grammofon: MoHa! is the latest Rune Grammofon signing and the youngest artists on the label as well. Guitarist Anders Hana turned 23 the day before he and longtime friend Morten J. Olsen (24) went into Athletic Sound in August 2005 to record "Raus Aus Stavanger", their first proper release as a duo. They have played together for 8 years and have recorded together with American saxophone player Andrew D´Angelo as Morthana, with Norwegian sax player Frode Gjerstad and Noxagt bassist Kjetil Brandsdal as Ultralyd and in a quartet with Gjerstad and bassist Per Zanussi. As a duo they have also released two very limited CD-R´s during the last 2 years. First release, "det e jo rock for faen" on ENLIGHTENMENT is sold out, second release "rock; meg i rauå" and the 7" "Rock/Off - siste del i trilogien med rock i navnet" is out on HUMBUG!

STIG NOISE SOUND SYSTEM (UK) Experimental / Post-punk / Noise / Alternative
Stig Noise Sound System

We make continually evolving  mixed up : Grungy - noisy - gypsy - folky - hip-hop(ish) - experimental - guitar abusing - mariachi trumpet - multi jaggard brutal drummers - analogue broken childish electronics / casio - ridiculous amounts of  bass based music, both, Brutal and Joyful in approach in making records and furious live shows .

Our music is  based on immense release and control, an ongoing analysis of hooks and motivational sound, exploring and discovering ways to exist as a live band in the shite show of modern existence .

We have been extremely lucky  in recent years to meet and play with genuine  hero's of ours like Daniel Johnston >>  The Ex >> Deerhoof >> Old Time Relijun  >> Melt Banana >> through the legendary squats, venues and festivals of east and western europe and  found endless inspirations and friends through shows and tours with legends like  Drum Eyes / Dj Scotch Egg >>  Vialka >> Pneu >> Shield Your Eyes >> MohA >> Shitmat >> Tim Exile >>  Duracell >> Jason Forest >>  Marvin >> the lists are endless ....   members of Stig Noise also play in UK diy legends Action Beat & Barberos and many many other experimental projects for many years inc a.P.A.t.T. >> Gay Against You >> .

We do not have  delusions of commercial success other than to not to knowingly follow in the footsteps of majority, either humanly, musically or commercially.

Stig Noise in 2011 is a collective of 5 friends and a collective of musicians based in a non-funded derelict old building / creative space in Liverpool, England. Our Space, U are welcome here >> www.DontDropTheDumbells.co.uk

We book our own shows, record our own records / artwork and in recent years worked only with DIY minded agents & labels such as Upset The Rhythm,  Wrong Music, POSTMUSIC, Southern Records, Eine Welt Aus Hack (EU),  Madame Macario (fr), Julie Tippex (UK) and many many friends who help us travel and release our music.

"Their noise is remarkable as it is original:crazy melodies played at odd tempos with brass instruments held in the hands of what apeare to be lunatics.Stig are the kind of band that the word cult was invented for.Weird, wonderful and Hardcore". Metal Hammer

I LOVE SARAH (BE) Indie / Pop / Avant Garde / Rock

I LOVE SARAH have been described as follows:

- “armpit-fresh rambling pop” (http://www.goformusic.be)
- “There is an electrical current which flows from these two opposites and creates the sensation of being hit by a "a slice of lemon, wrapped around a large gold brick" as Douglas Adams would say. If you like your rock with posts in it, you can't fail to love this band!” (http://www.moid.be)
- “simple music” (Gazet Van Antwerpen, 19/06/2004)
- “Their music reminds of mobile ringtones and rings in my ears like a beautiful story we tell to our children to scare them. And it works ! Unbelievable ! Goddamn ! This is pure music, between pop, degenerated rock and not giving a fuck.” (http://www.webzinenameless.net)
- “The drummer was talented, the avant-garde pop level was high, they put things on fire, covered Thin Lizzy, used Casio sound effects without making fools out of themselves, changed tempo like they'd never done anything else and overcame every technical problem.” ( http://www.kindamuzik.net)
