Part Chimp is an English rock band from Camberwell, London.

Something Belgian, something buzzworthy! Often abbreviated to KKK, the Belgian band Kapitan Korsakov's debut Well Hunger was very well received by critics. Cutting Edge said "Well Hunger is a personal, noisy voyage, beginning with the trashy rock song "When We Were Hookers", a sound which becomes expanded and enlarged by the large number of sonic experimentations that Kapitan Korsakov add to it". This single even got them the prize for the most furious riff of 2009 on Studio Brussel's Select. They beat the stiff competition The Hickey Underwold, A Place To Bury Strangers and Baroness in this competition. Cutting Edge recently made the bold claim that "Kapitan Korsakov are the Belgian Fucked Up".

Moins d'1 an après la sortie de son premier album sur Cheap Satanism Records, Joy As A Toy reviendra avec du nouveau matériel de circonstance: un répertoire inspiré par Goblin, groupe de rock progressif connu pour avoir composé les bandes originales du cultissime "Zombie (Dawn Of The Dead)" de Georges Romero et de films de Dario Argento.

Joy As A Toy est un trio bruxellois dont la musique se veut exutoire et fédératrice. Un rock hybride, foisonnant et échappant à toute linéarité qui passe sans sourciller de mélodies simples et aérées à des délires soniques proches du psychédélisme. Le groupe s'auto-proclame pratiquer de la "tennis pop" et du "vampire rock", ce qui rend leur présence à cette affiche.

Pour ce projet inspiré par Goblin, il ne faut pas s'attendre à des reprises, mais plutôt à une musique goblinesque à la sauce Joy As A Toy ou alors à du Joy As A Toy goblinesque. Le groupe sera accompagné pour l'occasion par l'illustre Pierre Vervloesem ( X-Legged Sally, CACA).
