Pro-Pain
Aggressive, meticulous, passionate, righteous - all distinguishing traits that have come to symbolize the fundamentals of metal/hardcore pioneers PRO-PAIN. Since their crushing 1992 NAIRD nominated debut album "Foul Taste Of Freedom", PRO-PAIN have become a staple in the diets of heavy music listeners around the globe. Their successful and enviable career has perpetually prospered throughout its course, and yet they still manage to find room to improve, and more importantly, impress. The year 2007 marks the 15-Year Anniversary of PRO-PAIN and the release of the above mentioned debut.

Their latest offering "Age Of Tyranny / The Tenth Crusade" is not only symbolic as being the band's 10th studio album, but the term "Tenth Crusade" is also a rhetorical device that builds an analogy between the U.S. led "War On Terrorism" and the historical Crusades. PRO-PAIN singer/founder Gary Meskil states: "This is about as close as we've come to creating a full fledged concept album, in that its content never veers from what is generally being implied by the broader album title(s)." He adds: "It is believed by many that our leaders are rushing us to Armageddon via a self-fulfilling prophecy which deviously mirrors that of Biblical Prophecy, and that rapture-ready Christianity remains complicit for obvious reasons. These are terrible yet interesting times. Unfortunately , not too many artists have written about it, and the ones that have only seem to have scratched the surface. PRO-PAIN have consistently gone much deeper than that". Songs such as "The New Reality", 'Beyond The Pale" (feat. Matt Bizilia from Icarus Witch), and "All For King George" all speak loudly for the album's musical diversity, which covers all aspects of PRO-PAIN's hardcore, metal, and classic rock n' roll roots and influences. "Age Of Tyranny / The Tenth Crusade" is an album for the ages.

Formed by vocalist/bassist Gary Meskil (ex-Crumbsuckers), New York-based PRO-PAIN have over the years benefited from substantial support from an ever growing loyal fan base, the Metal Press, Hard Rock Radio, and MTV's Headbanger’s Ball. In 2004, the band returned to MTV programming, clocking in regular and repeated rotation with “Can You Feel It”. Pro-Pain's worldwide catalog album sales are now approaching one million units sold!! With lead guitarist Tom Klimchuck, drummer JC Dwyer (ex-Paingod, Gonemad), and newly acquired rhythm guitarist Marshall Stephens, the band is set to tour the US and Europe extensively in support of "Age Of Tyranny / The Tenth Crusade."

Zuul Fx

Since the release of their first album "By the Cross " in 2005 ZUUL FX made a striking entrance into the metal world not only in France but also in Europe, where they were enthusiastically received.
Their live performances reinforced the massive support of the French media: magazines such as Hard Rock Mag and Rock One established the band as the new leader of the scene, while Europe2 TV, M6 Music Rock, MCM and MTV Pulse played all their videos.

ZUUL FX was rewarded by being featured on the cover of the magazine Hard N Heavy (November 2006), dedicated to the most important French metal bands. But ZUUL FX have not only been noticed in France : Bruce Dickinson played the album on BBC Radio 1. Key magazines such as Kerrang (UK), Metal Hammer (UK), Rock Hard Germany, Legacy (All), Metal Shock (IT) all praised the quality of their first album.

The new album «Live Free Or Die » has been released in March 2007. Whereas the basic structure remains powerful modern metal - mixing grooves, machines and precise riffs - the new ZFX sound has moved on from early descriptions as the missing link between Slipknot and Fear Factory.

In all its various shades and sounds, Zuul FX now fully confirm their seductive potential. For this album, the band did two videos so far : « Fight for the Cause », produced by Xavier Maingon (The Roots) and « I Never Forget », in which they used some images from the french cult movie « Zonzon » directed by Laurent Bouhnik (Select Hotel, Zonzon, 24h dans la vie d’une femme…). « Zonzon » has just been released as a DVD.

With «Live Free Or Die », ZUUL FX is booked on one of the biggest german metal festival, the With Full Force Festival in June 2007. Huge opportunities will show up on this festival : the band was scheduled to play on the Friday and made a great show.

The kids loved them so much and the promoter was so impressed that they offered the band the Static-X slot (who had cancelled their european tour) on the Saturday ! Zuul FX played a second show the day after on the Mainstage in front of 40,000 people, with the likes of Lamb Of God, Caliban and Slayer. This performance opened them the doors of a European tour with the famous NY hardcore band Pro-Pain in September and October 2007.

Since ZUUL FX started to tour Europe relentlessly to promote both albums, they have been sharing the stage with the likes of Korn, Machine Head, Gojira, Slayer, Lamb Of God, Trivium, Annihilator, Fear Factory, Motörhead, Hatebreed, Brujeria, Pro Pain, Napalm Death, Lofofora, Eths, Dagoba, Anthrax, and many others. They also played at prestigious festivals: With Full Force (Germany), Fury Fest and Metal Therapy (France).

Cuteezlaxa
In 2006, Cuteezlaxa records its first album, "Gravity keeps us down", at the studios Hautregard (Channel zero, Lofofora, Mass hysteria...), in co production with Rox Records, a label owned by Mario Guccio and Roland De Greef (Machiavel). "Gravity keeps us down", a mixture of power, heaviness and melody, denounces the difficulty of becoming somebody and of opening out in a corroded and hypocritical society where certain media are at the same time the detractors and the spokesmen.
