From local bars and taverns to some of the biggest concert venues and festivals in Europe, Romano Nervoso has proven himself as the ‘Godfather of Spaghetti Rock’ and a worthy contender of any venue while honing his charismatic onstage presence and becoming a seasoned live act with an unmistakable personal style.   With three studio albums under his belt and having turned up the heat at some of the best summer music festivals Europe has to offer while opening for artists such as Johnny Hallyday, Danko Jones, Triggerfinger, Band of Skulls, Skip the Use, Boots Electric, the Datsuns, the Sonics, King Khan & the Shrines and many more, the time has come for Romano Nervoso to take center stage.

At the crossroads of intimate folk and pop adventure, Blue Velvet emerged from the musical coming-together of Mirco and pH – from contrasting worlds of experimentation and melody. Citing influences as varied as My Bloody Valentine, Tom Waits or even Bauhaus, the duo equally evoke a connection with groups such as Dead Man Ray. So it’s no surprise that Rudy Trouvé has found himself at the controls for the sessions for their first demo.

Seeing Blue Velvet at work is a bit like making an expedition out of the ordinary, into a world where music is the driving force, somewhere between chaos and harmony.

After finding your way to the sound of "Are you ready ?" and "Santa Claus Is a joke”, you’ll meet a completely fresh set of songs and a new album,
"Level II".

Level II is a kind of road movie, tracing the stories of two people who, through being able to understand without speaking, end up ceasing to do so ... This spiral of silence forces them into a parallel world, a hole that they have dug for themselves and which they can’t get out of.

Début 2011, le groupe sort son second album « An hour with... ».
Une véritable petite bombe musicale aux sonorités puissantes et efficaces, agrémentées de mélodies on ne peut plus accrocheuses. Leur implacable section rythmique secondée de guitares tour à tour corrosives ou légères soutiennent et portent une voix envoûtante et percutante qui se balade entre douceur et rage.
Un an après, le bilan est lourd : 2 singles (Better days et The Fool) ont tournés sur de nombreuses radios (Pure FM, Twizz, Classic 21, Sud radio,…), plus de 30 shows à travers le pays (Francofolies, Fiesta Du Rock, VK, 24h de LLN, Belvédère de Namur, Père Noël est un Rockeur…), de très bons papiers dans la presse spécialisée, des interviews Radio et TV (Pure FM, Arte, La Une,…), une semaine en acoustique dans làŸémission 50° Nord (RTBF/ARTE), la composition du générique de làŸémission « CàŸest du Belge », la première place du Décompte PureFM pendant 10 semaines cet été, … !!
Un nouveau single verra le jour avant le printemps 2012 et VEGAS confirmera également sur scène dès le début dàŸannée.
