Hailing from Holland, SEVERE TORTURE is a bloodthirsty death metal band since 1997. Except the addition of a second guitar player in 2003, there were no line-up changes since their first album ‘Feasting on Blood’ in 2000. After the release of their sophomore album ‘Misanthropic Carnage’ in 2002 SEVERE TORTURE got signed on Earache Records. With numerous tours & shows throughout Europe, North America and South America they’ve gained a monstrous live reputation. After releasing ‘Fall of the Despised’ in 2005 and ‘Sworn Vengeance’ in 2007 SEVERE TORTURE joined forces with Season of Mist Records who released 'Slaughtered' in 2010.
"Prostitute Disfigurement started out as a 3 piece near the end of 2000 under the name Disfigure, right before demo recordings to be joined by Roel on guitars. After the second liveshow the band was offered a record deal with dutch based Dismemberment Records and under the name Prostitute Disfigurement the debut album "Embalmed Madness" was released.
Both debut album and demo were recorded using a drum computer. "Embalmed Madness" was released during October 2001, in limited quantity of 500, which sold out in a few weeks. Quickly 500 more were pressed and were again sold out quickly. The album got raving reviews in media such as Aardschok (NL), Legacy (GER) and so on and is now re-released by Unmatched Brutality.
More gigs made a live drummer mandatory, to benefit the aggressive stage-act of Prostitute Disfigurement, so local guy Tim joined. After Tim was enlisted the band started to work on their second album, entitled "Deeds of Derangement". This heavy piece of death metal was recorded early February 2003 and was released on German based Morbid records in August 2003.
Again great reviews were received, yet despite this guitarplayer Niels left the band and Benny was asked to fill his shoes. To support the album lots of gigs were performed, including festival appearancess on Obscene Extreme, the Morbid festival and the Rotterdam Deathfest. Sharing stages with well-known acts like Suffocation, Exhumed and Gorerotted fed the band only more.
After 2 years of gigs Tim left the band and Michiel (Katafalk, Toxocara), was asked almost immediately. He gladly took over the drum duties and barely a month after he joined the ranks the band entered Excess Studios to record their third album, entitled "Left in Grisly Fashion". This album was released on Neurotic records on June 6th 2005. The response was overwhelming and Prostitute Disfigurement has been on European tours with Deicide and Cannibal Corpse since.
2007 is going to be a killer year for Prostitute Disfigurement, considering the fact they will be recording their fourth album in spring this year at Andy Classens' Stage One studio. The CD, together with a DVD, will be released this summer on Neurotic Records.
After 2 years of silence Prostitute Disfigurement is back with a new line-up. Niels van Wijk rejoins the band after departuring right after the recording of the Deeds of Derangement album. The lead-guitar spot wil be filled with our new wingman Danny Tunker.
Spring 2010 we'll start playing live shows and start writing new material.
THE HORROR RETURNS!
Caducity was formed way back in 1989. We recorded two demo-tapes being "Incarnated: the abhorrer's tale" in '92 and "The Imperishable Mystery" in '93. Thanks to our demo-tapes we succeeded in spreading our name and we got signed by Shiver Records in '93 and released their first album end '94 "The Weiliaon Wielder Quest". The second album "Whirler Of Fate" was released in 1997. Through time we did quite some gigs with a lot of local and international bands such as Gorefest, Ancient Rites, Agathocles, Death, Cradle of Filth, Occult, Vader, Gorerotted, Tankard, Benediction, Congress, Liar and Enthroned to mention a few... .. Unfortunately, we've had some trouble finding a stable line-up after releasing our second album. Due to professional as well as personal reasons, some of the members choose to split ways and Caducity faced up to several years with ever changing bandmembers. Finally line-up came stable with Marre, Tommy, Steven and N.G. Along the way, we still accomplished the recording of our third album "The Gentle Annihilation of The Enthroned"... .. Later on Vinnie rejoined the band and we start working on new material for the new album 'Destination; Caducity' which was released in 2009. CADUCITY is still alive and kicking after 20 years and there's more to come!
SERIAL BUTCHER was first conceived in 1995, a self titled demo tape was recorded and unleashed upon the unsuspecting audience in 1997 The band is getting rave reviews in fanzines,being called a more brutal version of Cannibal Corpse, and playing an average of 2-3 shows per month all over the country, opening for international acts such as Loudblast,Natron,Suffocation,Aborted,... Wich resulted in recording 2 more demo cd's "Exhumed Rotting" in 1998 and "Butchers Forever" in 2001, whom where self released and limited to a few hundred copy's that where sold out in almost no time! January 2003 sees the band signing a one album record deal to American label "Deepsend records", releasing the EP "Genocide Landscape", recorded at CCR Recordings by Kris Belaen(Aborted,In-Quest,...), selling cd's all over the world,and leaving their mark upon the underground scene. A period of line-up problems had occured in the past years, but where quickly resolved by recruting Belgiums Finest musicians to continue the ravage the band had left behind, providing a more punishing sound than ever before.. The progression of the bandmembers today,took them to the next level of recording a full album, entitled "A Crash Course In Cranium Crushing" at the end of 2008. After 2 weeks of recording and mixing at the famed "Berno Studio" in Sweden with producer Henrik Larsson (The Haunted,Amon Amarth,Vomitory,...) 9 brutal tracks where finished of wich a 3 track promo cd was send out to the world, including the sick art of the allmighty "Tony Koehl" (Malignancy,The Black Dahlia Murder,Devourment,Putrid Pile,...) and quickly draw the attention of many labels,proving that SERIAL BUTCHER is back on track! which resulted in signing a 2 album deal with todays leading Deathmetal label "UNIQUE LEADER RECORDS", housing international top acts like Vile,Deeds Of Flesh,Hour Of penance,and many more... In a few words:"Preparing for the attack",that's what Serial Butcher has been up to! Beware,for those who left themselves unprepared,the ravage will be bigger this time and you will shit yourselves in awe when this relentless sonic madness of pummeling grooves and fast paced artillery passes through your town,leaving a devastating track!
