Sonic Boom Six (often shortened to SB6) are a five-piece rock band from Manchester, United Kingdom. Their eclectic sound combines different elements of several genres and has been described by Kerrang! as "taking ska, pop, grime, dubstep, punk and metal apart, then rebuilding them as a hyperactive hybrid". Their lyrics tend to focus on social commentary with a live show known for "clashing activism and good times". « La Casa représente la maison, le foyer. On l’a voulue « bancale » car on m’aime pas ce qui est trop figé ». La Casa Bancale surprend avec son vaste univers musical situé aux frontières des musiques caraïbes, mélant Ska, Rock Steady, Reggae et Dub au disco, à la chanson et aux musiques de l’est. « Nos textes parlent d’aujourd’hui, de notre regard sur le monde, du quotidienÂ… », franchissant les barriéres entre les styles (« Â…tous héritiers de différentes cultures et traditions. ») : pour inspirer des compos instrumentales a l’humour habilement distillé au fil des mots et de la musique elle-même. <br><br> Les premières fondations de la Casa Bancale ont été plantées à Nancy en 2001. La formation est la même depuis 2002 : une section rythmique, basse-batterie, percussions, guitare, clavier et une section cuivre trompette-trombone où chacun apporte sa présence vocale. La volonté première de la Casa est d’aller à la rencontre du public et c’est vraiment sur scène qu’elle trouve son véritable terrain de jeu. <br><br> A son actif, plus de 200 concerts (festivals, salles de concert, cafésÂ…) aux côtés de groupes tels que Tryo, Orange Street, High Tone, Sinsemilia, Marcel et son Orchestre, la Rue Ketanou, Tambours du Bronx, Tonton David, Jamait, Mon coté Punk,..Â… Rien de tel que le live et un album autoproduit vendu à plus de 2000 exemplaires pour attirer l’attention : CRÉAZART (Prod. Indé), le Studio de la Poèterie (Auxerre), l’éditeur QUART DE LUNE et une accompagnement de L’Autre canal ( SMAC Nancy) pour prêter main forte au septet nancéen. Résultat : ce nouvel opus de 14 titres bourrés d’énergie et d’originalité mixés par TIMOUR CARDENAS ( Peter Gabriel, Salif Keita, K2R riddim, 38 Dub BandÂ…) et masterisés par ALEX PATINO <br><br> <br><br> <br><br> "La Casa is the house, our home. But a house that leans because we don't like to be too rigid or fixed." La Casa Bancale has a wide range of influences from Ska, Rock Steady Reggae and Dub to Disco, Chanson Française and Gipsy Music. "Our lyrics speak of today, of our view of the world and simple things too," all laced with a sence of humour that is as evident in the music as it is in the words. <br><br> The foundations of La Casa Bancale were built at Nancy in North East France in 2001 with a line up of : drums, percussion, bass, keyboards, guitar and horn section (trumpet and trombone). The band's passion is playing live. They have already performed more than 200 times at festivals and clubs alongside other bands including : Organe Street, High Tone, NSK, Inner Terrestrial, Drums of the Bronx, Tryo... <br><br> After the band's first selfproduced album which sold 2000 copies, they were signed by producer Vincent Magni of La Poèterie Production (France) and is published by "Quart de Lune".
