(well we hoped). But we did try to avoid to become a generic ska-popunk-band: The vocals sounded dirtier and harder, and more important the message was a lot more radical.

On the 11th of october of 2001 Nico set up a gig for some punk-bands, R.A.T.S., fart & fat in villa squattus dei, and we decided to do a try out gig if there was some time left after the bands. & so we did. Everyone was really nervous. But we got people dancing from the first note (probably cause evreyone was completely drunk & in the mood to party). And the first try out was a great succes. And so the usual suspects story started...

Pepper Seed

From the Brussels region, the ten members of Pepper Seed deliver an explosive blend of reggae and ska, tinged with occasional dub accents. The band’s musical style is built on an unstoppable rhythm section, combined with the guitar’s and keyboard’s syncopations. On this foundation, the horns weave hypnotic melodies while the male and female vocalists take turns at the mic. The result is an irresistible mix of varied atmospheres, inventiveness, and energy.
