The Feeling Of Love is born in 2005 with different faces, one man band, two-piece or three-piece) and bring back best of Nineties-garage-blues (Gories, JSBX, and Doo Rag at their finest), cold punk psyche (Suicide, Spaceman3Â…) and Kraut without the stench of revisionism, updating those styles with a Pussy Galore-like slop of noise and a healthy dose of acerbic wit. Guitars alternately slide and slash, keyboards get punched and stepped on amid the fray, frenchmen sneer and whoop at you, drums boom and then turn coffee-can hollowÂ… They run blues-trash and kraut-punk through the gauntlet and come out the other side reborn as some snarling beast. Taking the blues and running them through shards of glass and then dumping acerbic wit all over it, the Feeling of Love take some genres that’ve been practiced for ages and flexes some French love muscle all over it.
