UNLEASH THE FURY (BE) Hardcore / Metal
And It Was Good...

Shortly after the Antwerp metal/H.C.-band Mug Shot split up, guitar player Marc and bass player Larry got the idea of starting a new band with the former Suhrim guitar player, Jerry. Jerry was not in a band at that time so he gladly agreed to join. The three of them started to exchange musical ideas and soon realised that the band was going to sound really massive.

Guust, the ex-drummer of Mug Shot told the guys that he could help them out for a short period of time only. At that time being a foursome, they started to compose their first songs at their practise place in Zwijndrecht.

When Marc heard that Hard Resistance, one of Belgium’s most popular hardcore bands of the late nineties had split-up, he asked their vocalist Ron Bruynseels to come over and listen to their ideas and maybe become their singer. At first, Ron was a little sceptical about the idea of stepping into a new musical adventure but the least he could do was drive over there and listen to what the guys were doing, right? After hearing the guys play the songs, Ron was very impressed with the massive sound and decided to join.

A few months passed before the first problems appeared: Guust was no longer able to combine his job with his musical activities so he reluctantly decided to leave the band. With Guust leaving, everyone knew that it wasn’t going to be easy, finding a new drummer and a new place to practice and create more mind-blowing music.

Jerry came up with the idea to call Dave Ligterink, who used to play drums with Kin Without the Blood. Since Dave wasn’t playing in a band at that moment, he invited the guys over to his own place right in the centre of Antwerp. After Dave had heard the songs it soon became clear that he’d like to join, so he did.

The line up was complete again and they started to rehearse at the new location in Antwerp City. The band was still nameless and Ron came up with the name: Unleash The Fury, and a new band was born.

After almost a year of intensive songwriting they did their first performance in the pub ’t Hemeltje, suprised many spectators that evening and proclaimed their place in the world of Heavy music.

The band started with solid gigs allover Belgium with bands such as; In-Quest, Born from Pain, 25 ta Life, Linchpin, Right Direction, Suhrim, Liar, Upperhand, Caldera,Â…

Due to a lack of time, Larry (bass) and Marc (guitar) stopped their active career in the band.

The group started to search for new inspired members, and got back in contact with Joël Decoster, known as the drummer of the split up band Hard Resistance. He allready had a musical career as a bassist player long time ago in the Death Metal band Ordeal, so he was capable and motivated 100 % to pick up his first instrument.

A new guitarist is found in Kevin, known from the band Reply. A massive, hard, freaky and experimental project from the area of Antwerp. Both new members add a new dimension of highlights to the music and a new spiritual aeon is born. Because of their earlier musical work and succes, all 5 members have a different energetic past, stage-act experience and a will to play massivelyÂ…

Some magazines and fans call this music “Deathcore”, for the band itself it’s raw, mean, deep, agressive, melodic, played with a blast!

Check out their promo-cd, and if you are looking for a energetic performance in your Club, don’t hesitate to contact the band. Don’t forget to check out the website for updates, Hot News, Tour Dates and more info. from the band.

Let the Fury be Unleashed!!!

In '93, the guitar player Didier Vancopenole (former singer of the hardcore band Brain Cancer and guitar player in the thrash band Necrosis) meets the drummer Bart Brion (drummer of Decadence) and they both decide to work together. They are rapidly joined by Alain Fabry on the bass-guitar (former bass-guitarist of Necrosis) and, later on, by Kalle Vanlint (former soloist guitar player of Cyclone and Decadence) and finally by Serge Van Bossele as singer.

After having written a complete set of songs, the band started playing its own compositions on stage in a style more hardcore, with a little thrash sound behind.

In 95 Bart leaves the band and is replaced by Pascal Haneuse. Later on, Serge also leaves to move to a more hardcore style. He will be replaced by Didier Meeus (former singer of the 70's influenced band Graal).

In '96, the band refines its compositions and records a "homemade" demo (Alone) on a 4-track recorder before performing its first concert.

The style evolves slowly toward a more thrash-oriented one and, at the end of '98, Trouble Agency records a second demo with 3 titles: Angry.

Shortly after the release of this demo, the band goes through a difficult period with a break-in on its premises and the drummer who decides to leave to dedicate all his energy and time to another music project he had on the go together with Trouble Agency.

At the end of 99, Jamal Obeidat alias Aladin, joins us. Aladin played as a drummer in several bands of varying styles (moving from Blues to metal playing jazz in passing) in Jordan and Germany. His style, more flexible and with more feeling than Pascals more technical and straightforward style, appeals to the band members. Six months later, the band is on the road again playing at concerts.

Trouble Agency records a new demo in 2002 in good working conditions. Bite Into Life (4 titles) is produced by Xavier Carrion (Ex-Channel Zero) in his home studio. This demo comes out in April, a few days before the first big stage of the band which assumes the first part of Immortal in La Loco in Paris.

February 2003. Kalle Vanlint decides first to make a break but announces in March that he leaves the band. The 4 remaining members will cope well with the next two concerts before they are joined by Larry (ex Brain Cancer, Decadence and Spanish Fly) in June. After 3 weeks of rehearsal, Larry appears already on stage, but the new line-up only gave its first real concert in December 2004 as an opening act for the band Peter Pan Speedrock.

As every other member of the band, Larry has brought his personal touch to the music of Trouble Agency. His concern for accuracy in arrangements and his novel ideas have greatly contributed to strengthening and developing a more personal style for Trouble Agency, mixing power and melody.

As the years have gone by, Trouble Agency has gained a certain maturity and experience of the stage. This has allowed the band to play the opening acts of bands such as Immortal, Hypocrisy, Macabre, Peter Pan, Destruction, etc.

In April 2005, the band performed its latest gig in the Metal Blast Festival at the Botanique in Brussels. The bands new album Moneycracy came out in 2006.

When Blood Burns
< « When blood burns » was born in September 2006 from the fusion of two young bands from Brussels « Mushpeet (hardcore)» and « Vidism (melodic metal core)».

In the beginning, there was Nico singing, Brian and Ben playing guitar, Fabian playing bass and John at the drums. The band soon begins composing a couple of songs, giving itself a musical identity and a particular universe.

The guys are influenced by the numerous bands they like, mostly involved in the new American scene (« New wave of American heavy metal ») but also in hardcore, thrash, and death metal.

Therefore, you can hear melodic parts, mixed with « beat down » ‘s, and screams / growls definitely efficient.

After two months of hard rehearsing, « When blood burns » ‘s line-up encounters some changes in November 2006, as Nico decides to quit for personal reasons.

Then Fabian takes the mic. But that change is followed by a stand-by period, because of the intensive search for a bassist and a second singer. December 2006 is a new start for the band, with the arrival of Gaëtan (ex-Vidism ) as second singer and Arnaud (ex-singer of Dark sensation and guitarist in Bloody hands) at the bass.
