Yowie

When we last left Yowie, the band had teamed up with The Jesus Lizard vocalist David Yow as masters of ceremonies on SKiN GRAFT’s “Sounds To Make You Shudder!” Halloween album. Now, the beast has metamorphosed again, this time forming an international lineup, composed of Daniel Kennedy (of Philadelphia’s avant-garde metal act Cleric) and Jack Tickner (of Australia’s microtonal mathcore messiahs Basil’s Kite), along with the OG Defenestrator.
Unmistakably Yowie, this new configuration pushes far beyond boundaries previously uncharted, infusing Yowie’s instantly recogniz- able approach with a new enthusiasm and energy that baffles and excites listeners, inspiring ass movement en masse.

POINO (UK) Noise Rock / Alternative
Poino
Poino is a British rock band from London, United Kingdom that formed in 2009.   The band pack together three divergent musical minds and unfurl a fractious monster, heaving with ideas and loaded with possibility. At one moment thunderous and choking, the next disguising calm with a creepy, anxious tension.    Since releasing their debut album Moan Loose in 2010 they have gone on to successfully navigate their pointed mayhem through well over 100 venues up and down the European landscape. Their live show delivers an audiovisual, twisting havoc in spades and after a spell away from the stage to complete their second record, 2014 will see a welcome return to the live arena off the back of it’s release.
DJEVARA (UK) Punk / Metal / Alternative
Djevara

Often described as furious, energetic, schizophrenic and passionate -Djevara play a unique and experimental blend of post-hardcore/punk rock and progressive, alternative metal that sees them as a determined force in the UK, European and international underground scenes. Fiercely independent and rooted in DIY, musically they chart ever more progressive territory; dense antagonistic melodies vying with pure, unfettered anger for attention to wrap around a viscerally personal urban poetry.   This is raw emotional music, but not for the faint of heart. The band are also active in a number of projects ranging from The Low Fidelity Disconnect arts project in North London to organising several DIY events and shows.
