Necro Deathmort

Ever prolific, Necro Deathmort have produced four albums in the last three years, and album number eight, Overland arrives imminently on 6th October via Profound Lore. The Quietus have shared an early stream of the warm, richly melodic, multidimensional album, which you can listen to below http://thequietus.com/articles/23295-necro-deathmort-full-album-stream

Progressing from last year's The Capsule, Overland presents itself as a different observation, more dynamic and layered than its predecessor. Overland expands their sonic pallette introducing further acoustic instrumentation and exploring new territory.  The duo, comprising Matthew Rozeik and AJ Cookson, create an intriguing and alluring blend of electronic-based music seamlessly intertwining dark ambience, noise, synth-driven beats, cinematic soundscapes, and heavy drones.   As well as crafting their own music, the duo have also produced remixes for Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), Ulver, Arcturus, Obsidian Kingdom, Vaee Solis, and also recently appeared on the new Steven Wilson solo album To The Bone, producing two tracks.  Forever at ease in the live realm, Necro Deathmort are just as comfortable performing for electronic music audiences as much as noise, and doom metal fans, having shared the stage with The Haxan Cloak, YOB, Oranssi Pazuzu, Dälek, Ulver and Atari Teenage Riot to name just a few.  The band have also performed at many festivals, including Roadburn, Sonar, Desertfest, Amplifest, Impetus,

JOY AS A TOY (BE) Psychedelic / Indie / Power Pop / Progressive
Joy as a Toy
If you miss Stereolab and Mr. Bungle—and I think we all do—then you owe it to yourself to give a listen to “Disco Dog”, from Belgian threesome Joy as a Toy. The specters of those progressive pop geniuses loom over all three-and-a-half glorious minutes, from the angular start-stop rhythms, to the brassy freak-outs in the middle, to the vibraphones throughout which sound straight off Stereolab’s Emperor Tomato  Ketchup.
Umberto

The last critically acclaimed album Prophecy of the black widow from
Matt Hill's Umbertofollows on from the Giallo soundtrack style he
brilliantly aped on his previous effort From The Grave deeper into the
bowels of the early '80s sound, leering creepily at John Carpenter and
the more bewitching ends of Italo disco and new wavey bits. Many have
tried this sound - step forward Zombi, Gatekeeper - but far fewer have
achieved it with as much grain and VHS-warped eeriness as this.

Umberto channels the great late 70's Italian Horror movie genre
created by Fabio Frizzi, Goblin, Ennio Morricone. UMBERTO is the long
lost soundtrack to a great horror movie that can only be conjured in
your mind.

Aniaetleprogrammeur

Aniaetleprogrammeur is a Berlin based band formed in Paris by
Aniajules (machines/synths) and Hanrigabriel
(guitars/vox/machines/synths).

They mix heavily effected guitars and vocals with massive electronic
synths and beats, bridging the gap between rock music, epic
composition, psychedelic electro and soundscapes. Since their start,
they have toured almost without a break across Europe in venues and
festivals, wailing vocals and thunderous beats plow through audiences
with like a rip tide.

"comes on like the bastard child of Einstuerzende Neubauten and Atari
Teenage Riot, albeit less po-faced than the former and less irritating
than thelatter, perfecting the mix of cold techno beats and furious
glam-punkguitars. For which, we are obliged to love them …"

Desicobra

Desicobra is a dodecaphonic synth-prog trio composed of Ben (of Shub
fame), Aurélie (of School Bus Driver shame) and Françoise Massacre
(ex-Warehouse bass player and current New Noise Mag collaborator). Its
decaying cross-over, stuck between the melodic exuberance of Goblin or
Stranglers and the ascetic stiffness of Shellac, is celebrated on
their most recent 10'', perspicaciously entitled "Live à Bombay".
